Location and cleanliness were ok If you’re traveling with a kid stroller, no path way for that. You have to lift it over the stairs. Limited waiting chairs (only 2). Telephone for lobby is not available, you’re welcome to go down and talk to the staff at the lobby if you need something

Overall everything was good except for the room smell.

I booked the non-smoking room, but the room was kinda have cigarettes smell, especially at night. I felt like I was suffocated.

The hotel was short walk from the train. Everything was clean. Some staff were friendly. Overall, for a short stay, not bad.

Some staff were stand offish. The pictures on Booking.com didn't depict the actual size of the rooms. The breakfast was ordinary compared to the presentation pictures.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Good for a short stay

The lobby was nice. The rooms seem updated and clean, similar to a safe and upgraded Motel 6 in the US. It was nice that it seemed local people stayed there instead of just noisy tourists. Location was close to many shops and fairly close to the train station

The property could use an update, newer ceiling light, windows, hallways, washer/ vending machine, lobby bathroom. The motion detector hallway lights were distracting.

Affordable, and great staff. I recommend.

APA is super affordable and the staff is always super friendly. I enjoy staying there, I know it isnt the best but for the price and value, it is good.

I do believe they could do better in dusting the place down. Under the bed, behind the TV, you will see dusty in a lot of those places. Allergies attacked up a little.

Lovely staff, lovely breakfast (paid in advance), and spacious room. Can't beat it for the price.

The breakfast was tasty. I enjoyed the spacious room and the beautiful location. Also, it was fairly priced! I would do it again!

I thought my bed was a bit off, but that's because I like two pillows, and a bit softer in the bed department. Otherwise, it was fine.

Dirty, old and difficult to sleep in.

Not much to like other than location

Dirty - Dust everywhere. These rooms must never be cleaned of dust other than basic surface clean. The aircon, under the bed, even the walls have dust clinging to them. It’s gross. The air exhaust in the bathroom is caked in dust. In common areas, it’s the same. The ice machine, shelves, everywhere is dirty. Old - this place is in dire need of a refurb. Pillows - 1 inch thick. Not kidding. WORST FAULT - The main light in the room, once you turn it off, bathes the room in a weird blue glow for hours. Anyone sensitive to light when sleeping is likely to struggle. From a Google search, it seems this is from really cheap CFLs. Book anywhere else. I’ve had to stay here a couple of times due to it being the only affordable place when booking at really short notice, but it’s best avoided like the plague.

It was a very pleasant stay. I would choose to stay again if I'm in Machida. Good value for money.

I enjoyed that I could open the window and have fresh air. This is very important to me. The yukata was very nice cotton and comfortable. The location is excellent also - close to everything, and very quiet.

As a western visitor I would have liked the choice of a softer pillow in addition to the pillow provided.

If you don’t mind the walk from the station, decent and spacious hotel in the heart of Machida with plenty of bars and r

Room was pretty spacious compared to other APA hotels rooms I stayed at. Overall, had a pleasant stay.

There was an additional sink in the room but no hand towels. Bit of a walk from the station. Room was available at the time I checked in but still got charged an extra ¥1000 for checking in 30 mins before regular checkin time. Was hard to understand front desk staff’s Japanese.
